The Best Crystals for Shifting Realities

Last Updated on

Shifting is a really exciting topic and we can’t wait to dig into it with you today.

Before we dive into the best crystals for shifting, we want to cover what shifting is. If you have a good understanding of what shifting realities is, you’ll have an easier time actually shirting into your desired reality.

What is shifting realities?

Many people think shifting realities is the same as lucid dreaming, but it’s not.

Lucid dreaming is when you can control your dreams. (If you’re looking to lucid dream, we have a list of crystals to aid your lucid dreams.)

Shifting realities is when you enter into a new reality.

Let’s go into the science behind it.

In quantum physics, there’s a theory that there are an infinite number of realities. Wrapping your head around infinite realties is hard as it is, but imagine an infinite number of Earths, all existing somewhere. You can’t see them, but they’re there.

In each reality, you exist. You might be a totally different being than you are now, but you’re there. In one reality you’re a famous scientist. In another one you’re the wealthiest person in the world. In another you’re married to the love of your life.

When you shift realities, you’re consciously entering a new reality. You can choose which realities you want to enter and experience those realities.

Want to know what it feels like to be loved, adored, wicked smart, or rich (assuming you aren’t those things in this reality)? Shift.

To help you shift, I’ve put together a list of the best crystals to enter a new reality. After going over the crystals, I’m giving you the steps you need to take (especially as a beginner) to see success your first time shifting.

10 best crystals for shifting realities:

If you’re strapped for time, here are the best crystals for shifting realities:

  1. Amethyst
  2. Celestite
  3. Moonstone
  4. Moldavite
  5. Black Tourmaline
  6. Clear Quartz
  7. Citrine
  8. Celenite
  9. Rose Quartz
  10. Lapis Lazuli

Let’s go into detail for each stone below.

1. Amethyst

Purple polished stone
Amethyst

Amethyst is *chefs kiss* for anything spiritual/psychic. It raises your vibrations, connects you to your higher spirit, and helps you communicate with your spirit guides. It is an absolute must for shifting. Amethyst is fantastic for releasing tension, so if you feel stressed out prior to shifting, adding amethyst under your pillow will help clear your mind.

Amethyst is also said to sharpen spiritual visions and provide you with spiritual guidance.

2. Celestite

A blue sparkly crystal.

Celestite is another stone I’d recommend pairing with Amethyst to shift. Both these stones together make a shifting dream team.

It has extremely high vibrations and will let you shift into your realities much faster. Celestite can connect you to other realms, making reality shifting a breeze.

3. Moonstone

Cream colored polished stone
Moonstone

Moonstone offers calmness. It offers emotional stability and can help ease your stress. If you’re new to shifting, use Moonstone to keep you calm and at ease.

4. Moldavite

Green stone.

Moldavite is incredibly powerful and spiritual. It can induce rapid change for personal growth, but can also help you shift realities and reach your higher self.

But we want to warn you—do not use Moldavite if you aren’t ready. Moldavite is a crystal you should only use if you’re experienced with shifting and crystal use.

5. Black Tourmaline

Black Tourmaline

Black Tourmaline offers protection. It removes negative energy so your experience shifting is positive and uplifting. You don’t always know what awaits you in alternative realities (especially if your script isn’t detailed enough). Keep this stone nearby to protect you and bring you back to this reality if you need.

6. Clear Quartz

White clear stone

Clear Quartz is an amplifier stone. Add it to your shifting stones collection to raise their powers and let you access your alternate reality quicker.

For example, if you find you keep having negative experiences with shifting, pair Clear Quartz with Black Tourmaline to offer even more protection against negative energy. If you are struggling to enter into a new realty, pair Clear Quartz with Celestite.

7. Citrine

Citrine stimulates your imagination and is one of the best crystals for creativity. Citrine will help you write a detailed script to the reality you wish to shift into.

But not only that, Citrine will boost your imagination to help you visualize your desired reality and aid your self expression. If you struggle with creativity and imagination, add Citrine into your shifting collection.

8. Selenite

Selenite is the master cleanser and will cleanse any blockages you have that may be preventing your from reality shifting.

To shift, your chakras must all be open. Use Selenite to eliminate any blockages that may prevent you from successfully shifting.

9. Rose Quartz

Pink quartz stone
Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is known as the stone of love, which extends to self love. If you struggle with negative thoughts (often around yourself) it will make shifting a challenge.

Those negative thoughts might follow you into the reality you’re trying to shift into, and keeping Rose Quartz by your side will prevent those thoughts from entering your mind.

10. Lapis Lazuli

Blue gemstone
Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a powerful stone for shifting realities. It can help to see beyond the illusions we create for ourselves. It will open your mind up and allow you to easily shift into a different reality. Lapis Lazuli can also help to release old patterns of behavior that are no longer serving us and connect us with our authentic selves.

3 easy steps to shift realities

Shifting realities is a bit tricky.

It’s not impossible, but it does require preparation. Here are a few things you can do to increase the chance of shifting.

1. Write your script

Now, the best way to shift is to script. Some people will say you can shift by simply thinking of the reality you wish to enter, but scripting is fool-proof. (But give both a try—see which you prefer!)

Scripting is exactly what it sounds like: writing out the script to the reality you wish to shift into.

Write absolutely everything about yourself within the reality you wish to shift into, along with other notes about it. Be descriptive and detailed and write in first person.

For example, “I am 25 years old and I’m a renowned pop star. Everybody adores me. I have more money than I know what to do with it. I live in a giant mansion in Malibu but have homes all over the world in…”

Or, “I am a retired 30 year old who inherited a large sum of money. I live in Paris and hang out at cafes and boulangeries everyday.”

You get the idea. Write out a page describing the reality you want to shift into.

You can even shift into realities from fictional books you’ve read—because if there are an infinite number of them, they exist).

2. Read your script several times

After writing your script, read it over several times until it feels as if it’s ingrained in your brain.

Now, place it next to your bed.

3. Gather your crystals

Time to gather one (or more) of the crystals listed above.

If your crystals are large clusters, you can place them beside your bed, but we prefer smaller stones to put under our pillow. That way, the crystal is in close proximity to our head/mind.

You can also wear them as rings or bracelets.

4. Get into a comfortable position

You shift realities when you sleep or are in a deep meditation, which is why many people confuse shifting with lucid dreaming. In lucid dreaming, you know you are dreaming. But when you shift realities, it’s real.

It’s very difficult to explain if you haven’t experienced either, but there is a difference.

You can try shifting standing, sitting, or laying down, but laying down is easiest for beginners, especially around bed time while falling asleep.

At this time, you’re mind is drifting in and out of consciousness and it’s much easier to shift realities (people often refer to this as the “lucid dreaming method for shifting realities” as the two are so similar!).

As you lay down, keep thinking about and visualizing your desired reality. As you close your eyes, you may feel yourself start to shift.

  4. Is shifting something you only do during sleep and meditation, or can you do it at other times as well? Also, what happens to the you in this reality while you are in another?

    • You can shift awake and asleep. Whem you shift, you have a clone. My suggestion is to script that your clone doesn’t act any differently than how you normally do. Or you can script it to do other things. Either way, scripting is cool.
